Itinerary
Your adventure begins at 8:30 AM with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a brief orientation, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forests, dramatic escarpments, and diverse wildlife. As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by dense Acacia and Mahogany woodlands, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead.
Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch break. Look out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and playful blue monkeys. Keep your eyes peeled for the famous tree-climbing lions, though spotting them is a matter of luck. If visiting during the right season, witness the breathtaking sight of the lake’s shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos.
In the evening, head back to your lodge or camp, where a delightful dinner awaits. Relax and unwind, reflecting on the day’s incredible encounters.
Start your day early with a quick breakfast before heading out around 6:30 AM for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, covering 260 square kilometers and plunging over 600 meters deep.
Spend five hours exploring the crater floor, where an abundance of wildlife awaits. Have your camera ready for close-up views of African elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. Midway through, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
After lunch, begin the steep ascent back to the crater rim and prepare for the return drive to Arusha. Arrive at your preferred drop-off location by 6:00 PM, concluding your unforgettable safari with a heart full of memories.
